Then I mixed up my batter, yes, straight from a box! Filled the cups and ta-da!

Baking with canning rings
Just gotta love a good idea and my pal, K is just beaming over with them! She posted this idea of using canning rings to make cupcakes.
First, I set the rings on a cookie sheet then put in the paper liners.
This is how they looked right out of the oven. And now here they are making our table look so beautiful!

Excellent!! I will try it myself!!! One more little cup-cake secret... Use an ice cream scoop to fill the liners. The kind with the thumb press that has the re-lease thing inside the scoop works best. It's worth the $5 you'll pay at walmart if you make a lot of cupcakes!! Good for you!! I will seriously give this a try-- looks like you made 16 on one sheet. :)
