Who knew?

Gosh, who knew we had SO much stuff! So much that I wonder just how I'll spend my days when there isn't anything to "sort or toss"!
We started the kick start yesterday and if we are only hitting the surface clutter, "WOW", is all I can say! Every time I sort through a box, bookcase or cabinet, I end up taking half of it out to sell and that just amazes me. Sure, it's all in good shape and still rather useful. Just not useful to me, my daily life or what I envision for my home. All this stuff has been stealing wonderful things from me, my family and even my friends! What, you say, what could your stuff be taking away from you? It's only stuff, right? Well, for one thing let's say the dining room table is so covered with "stuff" that your family can't sit down together to eat. There you go, lost family togetherness. Which in my opinion can then lead to not even eating at home...let's face it if the dining room is a wreck, you can almost bet that the kitchen is too. So, then you go out and spend money on dinner that could have been saved! I really have a whole new perspective on the subject. This new perspective makes it easier to let go of things. Okay, tomorrow may be hard on me as I hit my own bedroom and not the common areas of our house but I have certainly come along way! I'm ready to face the "stuff".
