It's only Tues. and we have tallied about 4 hours and 40 minutes in the car. Yes, it's insane. School drop off and pick ups, drving to and from work, and only two extra trips (one to the mall for shoes, one to Ace for garden supplies)
Yikes, it really is only Tues. and by Friday we'll have spent half of a day in the car all this week! I am sure we'll get close to 12 hours...sure of it. I knew we were losing alot.
But on the bright side of things, we have noticed that we do spend the time at home doing more useful things. We garden, we clean up, we chat with one another and we waste less food, we recycle more and all because we started noticing what we were doing. I think we are well on our way to fulfilling that simplified way of life. Just a few more things to toss off our backs and life will once again return to that "easy living" we all have been missing out on.
