Well, who knew?
In 2 days, Hal and I will celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. No, we won't be hopping on a jet place for some exotic location or even spending time alone. No, our life will continue as normal,  Hal will be in a class at UF while I take our kids to afternoon activities and zip home to make a quick dinner.
Through the years, we made plans for this big event. But over time, we changed those plans as life changed us. Earlier this year we thought we'd buy a brick for the walk on the island we spent our short honeymoon and we may still do that but as the day fastly approaches, we really have no plans.
So many things have changed in our 15 years together...we now have 2 adorable kids, well, mostly adorable, they play adorable well while in public. We have seen highs and lows and fought through what we thought was an army against us. We're still smiling and laughing everyday about some quirky event in our house and even though life seems at it's worst right now with so many things altering around us daily, we still hold onto that same love that began 15 years ago.
So, yeah, who knew? For those who partied with us like it was 1996 and it was...thanks for sharing that day with us and still sharing so many fun times since!
Sorry no awesome wedding shot to add...there were no digital cameras at our wedding! But hey, maybe in 10 years, we'll throw a big shindig and pull out that VHS tape of the big day! Hehehee!
