Overdue and Overextended

March certainly came in and out like a lion around here...in fact, I barely have any memory of the month. You wonder why I write about March when it's mid-May, well, we have been billed for overdue March library books this week. March was full of baby shower planning, dance competitions and the 2nd month of Hal's being unemployed. Those are the things I recall so these 3 books that weren't returned really don't ring much of a bell for me. I do remember having them but where they are now, your guess is as good as mine. Life has turned me completely upside down and I suppose if we take a look on the bright side, if all I have lost in these last 4 months is 3 library books then I am doing good. Some people have lost electricity, pets, friends/family and their homes. Many are facing much harder times than I am. But still these books have me puzzled. I am such a creature of habit. I find it odd that all the other books I had checked out at the same time were returned but these weren't. I usually put everything together to return so it's unusual. I will be paying the library before the end of the week because I really can't stand the idea of owing them anything. It's certainly going to be something if we come across them once I finally have the time to clean out our house for our big summer yard sale.
