Seems as if my blogs have become few and far between...well, we've been busy, I suppose.
We've battled all kinds of drama and rejoiced in many a good day as well. As we start this new year, we hope to stay on track. We have set a few goals. Some are intense and some are rather silly. Some are kinda both...the one I'll share is that we have decided that despite our situation with Hal's job loss, seasonal position and more interviews, we are going to set aside $12 a day to our savings (yes, $12, you know it is 2012...) for this next year. It's a small amount and most likely we have wasted much more per day on all this nonsense that I find myself clearing out of our home like a mad woman. We'll use the money for something big in 2013 and for now that is undecided but we have a few ideas that will probably surprise you. So, what's that $12 make us in the 366 days of this leap year? Well, just the straight calculation is $4,392.00 but it'll go into savings so hopefully we'll make a tad more...yep, we'll be doing alot of good this time next year if we can stick to it. A small sacrifice that is going to go a long way...and you'll see that Jan. 2013.
